As a sporty nature lover, I prefer to be out and about. Wind turbines have characterised the landscape where I live for many years - in Lower Austria and Burgenland, they are simply part of the landscape. For me, they are a clear sign of active climate protection.

My work at EWS is very varied - no two days are the same, and that's exactly what makes my job exciting. I've been part of the team since March 2013 and particularly appreciate the respectful and collegial way we work together.

I think we should spend our energy on how to get things done positively and well. As I like to work in a solution-orientated way, it's much more motivating for me to find out how something works instead of thinking about why it doesn't.

For my work as a project developer at EWS, my agricultural background gives me a deep understanding of agriculture and its daily challenges. I have been working on the development and implementation of EWS Sonnenfeld® projects since 2023 and see myself as a mediator between technology and agriculture in this regard.

Transparency, openness and clarity are particularly important to me.If people understand what we are doing and how everything interacts, they are taken seriously, more involved and can support the projects. For me, it's about human co-operation. Pulling together is always the most successful way for everyone involved.

EWS is a special employer for me because everyone here is passionate about what they do. Special highlights for me are the moments when a project becomes reality after a long period of planning.

Technical Management E-Tech

I have been with EWS for over 13 years and have recently taken over the technical management of the E-Tech | Construction Management division.

What I love about my day-to-day work is the variety and the opportunity to realise complex projects. No two days are the same - and that's exactly what makes my job so exciting.

I always enjoy working with our partners to realise sustainable projects that are not only technically challenging, but also bring real added value for our future.

EWS is a special employer for me because people take centre stage here. The support you receive - both professionally and personally - ensures that you feel comfortable and enjoy coming to work.

My EWS highlight was definitely when we connected our first EWS Sonnenfeld® in Bruck an der Leitha to the grid - which makes me particularly proud as a Brucker!

My acoustics team uses its sound engineering expertise to support projects in the field of renewables. The aim is to harmonise the necessary expansion of renewables with neighbourhood protection.I am always delighted when our customers, manufacturers and the authorities are satisfied with our work. We do this well because we have a wealth of experience, our work follows highly qualified standards and we always look ahead to challenging and future-oriented topics. The great thing about the renewable energy sector is the unifying enthusiasm for meaningful work. This is exactly the right spirit that motivates us in our day-to-day work.

I have been working as a biologist at the EWS since 2021. I do my work out of the conviction that both crises, climate crisis and species extinction, can be considered and solved hand in hand! I am proud that we at EWS implement renewable projects with a lot of expertise and a clear conscience! EWS is characterised by strong team cohesion, fair corporate governance and incredible expertise. Our annual highlight is our 2-day company outing, where we are rewarded for all our hard work and celebrate together - all 3 sites united! This strengthens our team spirit so that we can continue to fight for clean energy generation with full conviction!

I started my career at EWS over 15 years ago and felt the special EWS spirit from day one. In recent years, our team has more than doubled in size and in addition to our locations in Munderfing and Parndorf, we have also added one in Vienna. It gives me a good feeling to have a job in a sustainable industry.

As a technical draughtsman, I am an important interface between planning, measurement technology, biology, construction and sound engineering. In quieter times, I gained exciting experience in measurement technology, for example when setting up wind measurements in Austria and Germany. Training opportunities, the option to work remotely and many other benefits, such as daily catering and great events, have always been part of EWS.

Thanks to EWS, I have found a fulfilling job in which I invest my time wisely and work together with my friends to create a future worth living. My stories about this have already inspired many new employees to join our team.
