EWS is building two EWS Sonnenfelder® in September 2024.

The implementation planning and realisation of the two agrivoltaic systems were each put out to tender as part of a bidding process. There was even a Europe-wide tender for Potsdam. Both contracts were awarded to the EWS Sonnenfeld® system developed by EWS for the dual utilisation of good arable and grassland areas.

EWS Sonnenfeld Pischelsdorf

EWS EPC GmbH will now implement the 4.58 MWp EWS Sonnenfeld Pischelsdorf on behalf of Energie AG Oberösterreich with the expertise of EWS Consulting, starting construction at the beginning of September 2024. Commissioning and the start of feeding around 6 million kWh of solar power into the grid per year is planned for spring 2025.

EWS Sonnenfeld Potsdam

Construction work has already begun in Potsdam. Here too, EWS EPC GmbH is realising the turnkey 944 kWp agrivoltaic project for the renowned research institute Max Planck Institute Golm on the university campus in Potsdam in an approx. 6-month construction phase.
