The Max Planck Campus in the Potsdam Science Park is taking another step towards a sustainable energy supply: With the help of generous support from the state of Brandenburg and the Max Planck Society, the Max Planck Institutes in Golm were able to invest over €3 million in energy efficiency and renewable energies last year.
"With photovoltaic systems on our roofs and a large agri-PV system on the neighbouring field areas, we will generate electricity for our research institutes from solar energy ourselves in the future," says the management of the institute.
