At eye level with Windernte
After the wind farm tour in fine weather and moderate winds, the conclusion was clear: "Fascinating, impressive, magnificent". The view over the Innviertel region and the Kobernaußerwald forest makes the dimensions and possibilities of wind power particularly tangible.
The Munderfing wind farm is an impressive example of how projects in forested areas can be realised in an environmentally friendly way. A passing group of hikers who posed for a photo in front of the wind turbine once again confirmed how well the wind farm has been received by the local population and how popular it is as a local recreational destination in the region.
"A sustainable energy supply is a central focus of Energie AG - also for the Group's transformation process. Wind power has already been utilised at the Munderfing wind farm for over 12 years. It is impressive to experience and understand this on site," says Eva Schinkinger.
Dipl.-Ing. Josef Postl adds: "Climate-neutral wind power doesn't just make sense from a bird's eye view - we need it. With EWS as a competent and experienced partner, we have the expertise for this in our own country."
EWS co-owner Esther Mirwald and co-owner Gerhard Steindl: "We would like to thank you very much for the visit and for the valuable exchange! Our thanks also go to Martin Voggenberger, Mayor and Managing Director of Windpark Munderfing GmbH, and Sabine Zerobin, wind energy expert at Energie AG."
