EWS from Austria conquers Germany

The Max Planck Institute in Potsdam is striving for greater energy independence with a combination of electricity-saving measures and the expansion of renewable energies. As part of a tender, we were awarded the contract to implement an agrivoltaic system on the grounds of the renowned research facility.

As the general contractor, EWS planned, delivered and constructed the turnkey 944 kWp agrivoltaic system "EWS Sonnenfeld Potsdam", On 5 September 2025, the agrivoltaic system was inaugurated in the presence of Dr Manja Schüle, Minister of Science, Research and Culture of the State of Brandenburg and the President of the Max Planck Society, Prof. Dr Patrick Cramer.
