Strong partnership for green energy in Bavaria
EWS has developed the Denkendorf wind farm in cooperation with Bürger:innenwindpark Denkendorf GmbH & Co. KG, a company of neoVIS Energie GmbH, in neighbouring Bavaria where we contributed our knowledge from the idea to implementation. Here we have contributed our knowledge from the idea to the realisation,
especially in the area of RSD wind measurements and technical planning.
Project highlights
- The Denkendorf wind farm was the largest citizen participation project in Upper Bavaria
- during the entire project planning and implementation, particular emphasis was placed on nature conservation, as the facilities are located in the Altmühltal nature reserve. All measures were carried out in accordance with the requirements of nature and landscape conservation.
- A unique combination of different EWS measuring systems to determine the wind profile up to 200 metres above ground level provided meaningful data bases and yield forecasts
